For 2026, how about giving small changes a try? And when you have a “bad day” be kind to yourself, keeping in mind perfection isn’t the goal. Not really. Despite what internet fad might be popular right now. I agree with Dr. James Clear, “When you fall in love with the process rather than the product, you don’t have to wait to give yourself permission to be happy.”
I’ve been a fan of Dr. Clear for a few years, I may have mentioned his ideas to you if we’ve ever discussed topics related to habits, change, motivation, et cetera. I recently wrote about it in this newsletter message: Lacking Motivation? How to get started on that “thing”…
So, as you start your 2026, I invite you to check out this interview with Dr. Clear. I found it really helpful and probably the best distillation of his work that I’ve come across:
One more reminder: we haven’t had a fee increase in the five years since starting Liberated Mind; to keep up with rising costs, we are increasing our fee structure by $15. If you are billing with us through your insurance, this will not impact you directly as we have notified all the insurance panels we are on to let them know to reevaluate our contracted rate. This is a typical process, the insurance companies do this annually on their end, and so it is time for us to increase things on our end as well. This change goes into effect with the new year.
